Family Shelter Services this Wednesday

February 21, 2017

Did you know that 1 in 3 teens experience abuse of some sort in a dating relationship before they graduate High School?  Family Shelter Service will join our group on Wednesday to present information on how to stay safe in a dating relationship. Discussions will include knowing the signs of abuse, what a teen can do if they or someone they know are in an abusive relationship, and how Family Shelter Service can help. All materials are appropriate for high school age teens and will be presented by Nyla Whitehead, Family Shelter Service Prevention Educator.

We will also be doing a service project for Family Shelter Services during most of our time Wednesday night. I hope you can make it!
