Dear 2013 Go & Serve Team,
Thank you for an amazing week of work, worship, and community in Alma. I am blessed to have been the leader of such an awesome group. I wanted to make you all aware of something that happened on our trip and reach out to our community about it.
On the Saturday morning we were heading back to Naperville, it was brought to my attention that two iPods had gone missing – as well as $60 – from the girls’ dorm. The iPods & money have not turned up in the past week, so we are asking that if someone took them that they return them to my office at Knox – no questions asked. I’m at Family Camp in Michigan and out of the office until Tuesday, July 2.
Although we hope things like this will not happen, it is important for us to be honest and open with each other when they do. It is disappointing that 1 person out of 141 people can affect our entire group, however, it is important to remember that this is one person who made a poor decision – not the group.
God provided an amazing opportunity for us in Alma and I am so joyful for each person who went. If you have any question or concerns, please let me know. Thank you.
